Setting up automatic bank (ACH) payments
Why Stripe may ask you to log into your bank for ACH
To set up automatic bank (ACH) payments, Stripe needs to verify that you have authorized access to the bank account being used.
This is especially important for many teleCalm customers who are caregivers or hold Power of Attorney, since the bank account may be in a parent’s name.
As part of this process, Stripe will prompt you to log into the bank account to confirm that you’re authorized to use it.
When you complete ACH setup, Stripe automatically enrolls the payment method into Stripe Link, their secure one‑click digital wallet used across many websites that use Stripe for payments.
When you log into your bank through Stripe:
- Your login is encrypted and never shared with teleCalm.
- Stripe only uses it to confirm ownership of the account, not to access your banking activity.
- Verification happens instantly, so your service can be activated right away.
This process is standard across modern payment systems and helps ensure your payments are set up safely and correctly.

If you prefer NOT to use Stripe Link or do not want to log into the bank account, you can always pay with any credit or debit card instead.
Card payments do not require bank login or Link enrollment, giving you full flexibility to choose the payment method that feels most comfortable and secure for your family.
