Since 2016, teleCalm has helped families across the country manage stressful phone-related challenges for older adults and other individuals who need extra protection. We offer several service options to fit different situations, from caregiver-managed home phone service to robocall protection for independent individuals.

teleCalm Caregiver

teleCalm Caregiver is our flagship home phone service for individuals living with dementia or other cognitive challenges. It helps families reduce late-night and repeated calls, unnecessary 9‑1‑1 dialing, and exposure to scams by evaluating each incoming and outgoing call and only allowing trusted contacts to ring through. The Caregiver service is a landline-style VoIP service that replaces an existing home phone provider and works with any standard telephone via the teleCalm adapter

Priority Response

Priority Response is an optional add-on for teleCalm Caregiver for older adults at home or in senior living who may call 9-1-1 unnecessarily. Calls are routed to a U.S.-based emergency response center, where an EMT-certified operator assesses the situation and contacts the family caregiver to help decide whether emergency assistance is needed, providing added safety and peace of mind.

teleCalm Trust

teleCalm Trust is for independent seniors who want a simple home phone service that blocks robocallers and scammers while preserving independence. Our system learns trusted contacts over time based on calling habits. New callers enter a random 3-digit code before ringing through. teleCalm Trust is a landline-style VoIP service that replaces an existing home phone provider and works with any standard home telephone using a teleCalm adapter.

teleCalm Mobile (Early Access)

teleCalm Mobile brings the benefits of teleCalm Caregiver to an individual’s existing smartphone and carrier. The service uses the teleCalm Dialer app, which installs on an Android smartphone and replaces the default dialer, while family caregivers manage settings remotely through the teleCalm Caregiver app on iPhone or Android. It’s ideal for families who want caregiver-guided protection on a mobile device instead of a traditional home phone.

teleCalm Adapter

teleCalm’s home phone service is easy to set up and works with or without internet service. Simply plug the teleCalm adapter into a power outlet and connect a standard telephone to the back of the adapter.

Internet is not required. If no internet connection is available, the adapter uses built-in cellular service to keep the end user connected.

If internet is available, the adapter can also connect through a dedicated home or apartment internet connection, including most free community Wi-Fi networks in senior living communities.
