What does the “Adapter Offline” message mean and how do I resolve it?
If you are a Caregiver app user and you see a notification appear that says “Adapter Offline”, this means that our system is not able to communicate with the teleCalm adapter.
This can be caused by a variety of reasons, and it can usually be solved by these quick actions:
- Make a call to the loved one’s phone number to see if the call is successful.
- If the notification is still visible after completing this call, then you will need to check the teleCalm adapter in person, make sure it is plugged in, and likely reboot it. Here’s instructions on rebooting the teleCalm adapter.
