The teleCalm Caregiver service allows you to control who can call in by using the Caregiver App. Here’s how you can manage your contacts:
Steps to Control Incoming Calls
- Download the Caregiver App: Ensure you have the Caregiver App installed on your smartphone.
- Enter Approved Contacts: Use the app to input the phone numbers of individuals you want to allow to call. This ensures that only these contacts can reach the individual using the teleCalm service.
- Ensure teleCalm Rules are On: The teleCalm Rules are what protect your loved one from receiving unwanted calls. Find more information here.
- Manage Callers: You can add, remove, or update contacts as necessary, providing flexibility in managing who can communicate with the senior.

Steps to Control Outgoing Calls
- Restrict Outgoing Calls to Approved Contacts: Ensure Enable Outgoing Call Rules is turned on in Settings. With this setting, your loved one will only be able to make outgoing calls to the approved contacts.
- Allow Outgoing Calls to All Numbers: Turn off Enable Outgoing Call Rules, ensure that teleCalm Rules are on. Incoming calls will still be filtered, but outgoing calls will be allowed to anyone except for numbers you add to the Personal Block List.
- Manage Outgoing Calls at the Contact Level: Under each contact, there is the ability to turn off Allow Outgoing Calls. This will allow incoming calls only from that contact, which some fine useful for doctors offices, pharmacies, etc.
- Manage Callers: You can add, remove, or update contacts as necessary, providing flexibility in managing who can communicate with the senior.
